Grandma and Grandpa opening their breakout box game

I locked their gift in a breakout box and everyone had to
work together to solve the clues to unlock the locks!

It was about a 30 minnute fiasco of working together and some yelling :)

It was quoted that Mom said, "We don't do those. I'd hate that!"
(lucky for them, that was their gift)

They finally got it open and inside were tickets
for the 10 adults to do an Escape Room in Sioux Falls,
probably during spring break!

The kids with their ring pops - they said YES to be in the wedding!

Van Grouws' gift from the Kaisands

new golf pants for Dad - aka teaching pants

Grandpa opening his air compressor from everyone!

Grandpa ended the night with a poem that he so eloquently wrote about each kid
and their mate and the qualities that make them a perfect fit in our family.
It ended with Grandpa agreeing to get his wedding re-sized to actually be worn
and agreeing to get Grandma a new piece of jewelry, too!
Many tears :)

We are so blessed and had a great Christmas with everyone!

Hanging out with the Van Grouws

We had calculated that it had been four years since we were back from Christmas
that someone wasn't sick or had other nuisances!
We were so thankful everyone was healthy and we had a great time!
