(Un)spring Things!

Spring Soccer has started for Aubrey and it has been cold most days!

She practices on Tuesday and Thursdays with games on Fridays!

She made a GOAL on her 2nd game!

On Friday she lost her tooth at school!

It's felt like January, and with that comes tummy sickness :(

Avery went down first.

After her tummy troubles, she followed it with strep throat :(

playing and trying to stay away from sick germs

A few days later, Aubrey came down with the sickness. 

 Avery decided to be PINKIE PIE and colored her whole skin 

that she could reach with PINK marker!

Yes, it was washable - little stinker! 

I *THINK* "real" spring is on it's way THIS WEEK! 

Easter things

On Thursday, William Penn had their annual egg hunt

and it was actually "warm"ish and sunny!

The girls made quite a haul here - Avery even snagged 4 free passes to the YMCA!

On Good Friday, Mommy worked at school a bit and the girls

got to play out in the playground.

On Saturday, Bank Iowa had their egg hunt and it was WINDY and cold!

Aubrey did a good job finding eggs. . . Avery not so much!

Avery didn't even want to go in by herself, so I held her bag on the sidelines

and she came and brought eggs to me. . . a very slow plan.

Looking through our candy and 5 cent coins. . . no big prize this year for us!

Since it was so cold and windy, we thought we should try our

birthday kites out! 

On Sunday, we celebrated Easter at Grandpa and Grandma Bettys.

(and their 60th wedding anniversary - WOW, congrats!)
