Easter Sunday

After our church services, we headed over to Grandma Betty's

for lunch and Easter festivities.

Oskaloosa Egg Hunt

This morning Oskaloosa had their Bank Iowa Easter Egg hunt. 

They were bundled up and ready to go.

Aubrey was in the 5-7 year old group

Avery was in the 1-2 year old group

Each egg had candy, nickels and a few bi g prize strips that you could redeem. Avery got two prizes and Aubrey got three!

Aubrey got these cool prizes: Mario Kart racing system, power squirt gun and a beanie baby.

Avery got a bag of candy and a bag of candy corn as her extra prizes.

Avery's 2 year check-up

This afternoon we had Avery's two year check up.

It was good timing since she was just coming off an ear infection

That needed two rounds of meds to kick it.

Thankfully, the ears checked out great.

Here are her stats and Aubrey's at her age to compare :)

Avery's height: 35 1/2 inches, 88% (Aubrey was exactly the same!)

Avery's weight: 26 lbs, 40 % (Aubrey was 25 1/2 pounds)

Avery's head circ: 18 inches, 10 % (Aubrey was 18 1/2 inches)

Pretty comparable I would say :) Healthy for sure!

Kaisand Birthday Party for the Girls

On Sunday afternoon, we invited the Kaisand clan

and Grandpa and Grandma Betty for a combined birthday party for the girls.
