Last Sunday evening, our town square had a celebration and
hosted it's first movie in the park - RIO!
Since it is one of girls' favorite movies, we stayed up late and watched it!
It didn't start until 8:30 but the weather was perfect!
We also enjoyed free popcorn and sno biz :)
We brought our lawn chairs and blankies and were good to go!
Mommy took the girls to a Mango Tree date
to mostly encourage Aubrey to keep up with her cold eating/drinking
Grandma VG sent special gifts for Aubrey
(and Avery) to help in her recovery
lots of lego building downstairs with Daddy
YAY - we finished it!
She has played with it equally as long as it took her to build it!
On Thursday night, Mom took the girls to "Sweetcorn Serenade" on the square -
Daddy was working with cows f]or the State Fair.
Aubrey was brave and wanted to ride the pony all by herself!
Avery said not a chance!
playing in the corn pile
train ride together
I fould this cute little desk and chair for Aubrey on a BST site for only $20!
She needed something more grown up in her room for her "homework" in Kindergarten!
While Aubrey was still recovering, Daddy took Avery to the County Fair.
She did the working exhibits from the 4Hers
and enjoyed walking around with her hands in her pockets ;)
She tripped on our cement step and fell HARD!
She insisted she needed a band aid on her scraped chin
so she went and got one and put it on all by herself.
This past Saturday night we invited ourselves over to Dan and Andrea's
house in Indianola to watch the hot air balloons go near their house!
The girls liked seeing all the balloons...I think we counted 45 that took off!
It was Aubrey's first time really allowed to "play" since her tonsils were out,
so rolling down the hills and running around with cousins was great fun!
