Night on the Farm

Tonight Steve wanted to head to the farm to do some work 

with the sale calves, and he offered to take both girls with him!

Avery was NOT a fan of the flies or the kitties,

but she was brave enough to take a pic with

her steer, TURBO

She was brave enough to hold the halter and even pet him

Aubrey of course had to show she was brave, too

(CRAZY windy - hence the high flying hair!)

Fall Festival

This Saturday morning I took the girls

and met the Palmer family, at the free Pella Fall Festival.

first stop was pumpkin painting

Clay County Fair

We continued our new little tradition of going to the Clay County Fair.

We left Friday after school and came back home Sunday night.

A quick trip, but we had a lot of fun!

The Wynias, along with Grandma and Grandpa Van Grouw

joined us at the Fair.

Unfortunately the Van Grouws couldn't make it,

since Weston got sick on the way up. 

Suckers were a must to keep the kids entertained.
