Daddy Daughter Dance

Oskaloosa held their annual Daddy Daughter Dance on Friday

and it was Aubrey's first time to go!

She was SO EXCITED to have a date with Daddy!

Mommy did her hair, and Aubrey was surprised with a corsage!

She had no idea she would be getting that, she said :)

Meanwhile, Avery and I were supposed to go on our date to 

McDonalds and Dollar Tree,

but Avery got sick with a high fever and ouchy throat.

(Later she would throw up, we would take her in to the doctor, and she had strep)

Instead we hit the drive thru for a shake and then to bed. :(

Nice Weather!

February 22 and 76 degrees...

talk about Spring Fever!

This afternoon we hit up two parks, first "Kelly's park"

It was super fun climbing these logs in the sand

After two parks, we still craved to be outside,

so we went to the Forrest Cemetary to the ponds.

We walked around and collected pine cones...

...and threw them into the pond!

Such beautiful weather!

Is this winter?!

With the unseasasonably warm temperatures in the last weeks,

we have been enjoying the outside extremely!

We have spring fever already and it's only February!

Avery is ready for this spring weather!

We have had the windows open a lot lately!

One day we came home to this rooster right on our deck

cock-a-doodle-dooing quite loudly ;)

I called the neighbor to come take him home. 

They like to rustle in our leaves.
