1st day of school

On Friday, August 23, the GIRLS had their first day of school

at Oskaloosa Christian!

Everyone had a GREAT day! 

Aubrey - 3rd grade

Iowa State Fair - part 2

On Friday, a lady offered to take our pic and as you can see, it was BRIGHT! 

Saturday was busy with show day but Aubrey did get to see the exhibit

SNAKES ALIVE! 

She was THRILLED to lead Rhinestone out to tie-outs all by herself! 

It was a rainy start to Sunday, but she was able to see a few things and do a few 

fun things before coming home late Sunday afternoon!

She ALSO was brave enough to try the ZIPLINE for the first time! 

She was ready to go, but had to wait for the boy next to her for awhile

since he chickened out. She then went before him. 

and she was OUT on the ride home Sunday night after a busy 3 days 

at the Iowa State Fair 

Iowa State Fair - part 1

On Thurday, Avery got to go with up with Dad, Gradma and Grandpa Craig

to the Iowa State Fair and stay in the camper!

She had fun watching the fake spider trick from the sidelines in the barn. 

On Friday, Aubrey and mom (and pen pal Noelle and Miss VK)

rode the bus up to the fair toegether! 

Avery had a bit of work to do in the barn :)

We all met up for working exhibits in the 4 H building 

Ya, I think we'd be good at joining the women's football league!

A nice lady gave us free tickets for M&M popcorn balls on a stick.

We convinced Grandma Char to go on the BIG SLIDE for the first time! 

They also got spoiled to go on a few other rides, too!

Then Mom and Avery rode the bus back and drove home Friday night

and left Aubrey there for one more night!
