End of 8th grade things

The teachers vs. 8th graders volleyball game - it was a tie - 

teachers won the first two games and the 8th graders won the last 2 games.

Aubrey was my 8th grade chapel group leader this year - we met in the music room and every Wednesday we would have devotions that she would read and we would pray and sing 2 songs.

At the end of 8th grade, the 8th graders get to pick one cinder block

 to leave their mark in the locker room. 

 

Last Day of OC 2024-2025

Friday, May 16, was our last day of school for the 2024-2025 school year,

Aubrey's last day of OC....ever!

Avery finished 5th grade, Aubrey finished 8th grade and Jen's 17th year at OC.

There was chapel and awards and a special farewell to the 8th graders! 

 

Service Projects & Field Day

It was a CHILLY day for service projects and field day at the end of the school year.

I helped Avery's class plant flowers and deliver pots with the Kindergartener's.

Aubrey's class filled up water buckets for field day.

Then it was field day with water games in the cold and a surprise teacher inflatable race - I was the chicken and about suffocated! Phew! 

Aubrey was my chapel group leader this year and really wanted a win on field day!

Then it was MAROON TEAM for the WIN for the obstacle course! WOHOO!
