Clay County Fair

We continued our new little tradition of going to the Clay County Fair.

We left Friday after school and came back home Sunday night.

A quick trip, but we had a lot of fun!

The Wynias, along with Grandma and Grandpa Van Grouw

Unfortunately the Van Grouws couldn't make it,

since Weston got sick on the way up.

Boden's FIRST birthday!

Adventureland

On Sunday we decided to head out to Adventureland after morning church.

We quick went home and changed and packed a lunch on the road.

We got there at noon and stayed until 8:00 at night.

We did not even make it to Adventure Bay since it was pretty busy!

For the most part, we all had a great time, 

even with a little rain, long lines, and slightly over-tired girls.

It was the first time that Avery got to come along.

Aubrey could ride ALL of the rides that Daddy did 

EXCEPT the Space Shot and Monster.

Avery was just over 36 inches so she could ride most

except for the Outlaw and Tornado roller coasters!

At this point, Avery was super tired so Aubrey got to

go on quite a few little rides all by herself.

FINALLY at 4:15 Avery decided to crash and it came none too soon!

After her 45 minute nap she was good to go!

but Aubrey thought we had to do it, so we did!

It was about 6:00 in the day now and it was starting to sprinkle.

Might as well get wet on the ride if it's raining anyway!

...turned into a beautiful RAINBOW!

It wass starting to get chilly after that rain shower.

One last ride for the evening...a family favorite...THE TRAIN!

We got to Culver's around 8:15 for supper

and Aubrey crashed on the way home, Avery talked the whole way home

since she had her 45 minute nap earlier ;)

Overall, a great last hurrah of summertime fun!

Fresh air

The days are warm and the evenings are beginning to feel like fall. That means a lot of fresh air and playing outside after school and into the evening!

I do love Fall!

Daddy went to the football game so I took the girls to the park.
