In a strange order, however :)

Steve doing a little shoveling, until a nice neighbor came
and dug us out with their blade - thanks whoever it was!

putting up the new lights on the house BEFORE the snow hit

it was COLD and WINDY - but they lasted about 15 minutes :)

drifts off the south side of the house quite a few feet deep

Avery's side of the gingerbread house

Avery would later regret this as it got her hands VERY COLD
and became quite cranky after an hour in the cold!

The most snow we have seen since living in Oskaloosa, for sure!

Disney on Ice

On Friday afternoon, we took the girls to Disney on Ice!
We were so glad we made it on time.
Mom was shopping in Des Moines and had both van keys with her.
That meant Dad and the girls were stuck at home with no keys!
Thanks to Grandpa Betty, he brought over the gray car
and they trucked it to Des Moines in the clunker!
We ALL made it JUST as the curtains opened!

Finding Dory

She was just 2 last time we went, and she was IN AWE this time around!
"Oh I get it, they are on ICE skates - that makes sense!"

Aubrey was a good sister and wore a too-small Elsa dress
to humor her sister, "Anna" - :)
