Teeth and Tulips

On our extra day off for Easter break, we had a wonderful day!

It felt like 75 degrees, so yes, the girls got on their swimsuits

and Barbies and waded in the pool in the morning.

In the afternoon, we headed to Pella to check out the tulips - 

first Sunken Gardens, 

Aubrey had her dentist appointment and had NO cavities

so she became part of the "Healthy Smiles" club!

Then back to the Square for more tulip looking.

Easter

Our first Easter egg hunt was at William Penn on Wednesday.

We saw some friends there! 

Not a lot of eggs, but a lot of fun!

After church on Good Friday we noticed this on our garage door!

Our yard had 12 eggs and this note!

It was so fun!

We found out our babysitter, Katie and family "egged" us!

On Saturday morning, we did the Bank Iowa egg hunt.

Daddy went with Avery to her age group, 3-4.

Mommy went with Aubrey in her group 5-7 years old

This was the egg that got Avery her big prize.

She didn't win a big prize this year, BUT

she did share 2 eggs with a boy who came late and didn't get any.

She felt very happy about sharing :)

Saturday afternoon, Aubrey was brave enough to sit by the Easter bunny,

Avery was still scared of it ;)

Spring Things!

It's been awhile since a post, but now that the spring weather has arrived 

and we have snapped out of the rain spell, we are excited for outdoor activities!

Aubrey was happy she remembered how to ride without training wheels -

she does really well!
