Date Night

On Saturday, we got Caitlyn (Steve's Freshman cousin) to babysit Aubrey and we got to go out on a date for an early birthday present.  We went to Pella to the matinee of The Hunger Games.  Neither of us had any idea what the movie was about going into it, but we had heard a lot about it from our students.  We both ended up really liking it, especially for a movie that was over two hours long - I would definitely recommend it!  We shared a large popcorn and pop there (I LOVE movie theater popcorn) and Steve wanted to take me out for supper too after that but we weren't that hungry, so we just went to Smokey Row and had light sandwiches and coffee.  It was a nice night out and we were still home on time to put Aubrey to bed at a reasonable hour - that's why we love the matinees!
