Summer To Do List

We are officially about one week into summer and we have a list of about 

THREE THINGS we want to accomplish with Aubrey:

1-drink out of a big girl cup 

2- move into a big girl room

3- potty train.

We are on to step number 2 this week. 

We decided to leave the nursery as is and just move Aubrey to our spare room, 

that way we can keep the nursery, "nursery-like" for future children.

We asked Aubrey what bedspread she wanted and she helped pick it out online.

We asked her what color she wanted her room to be, and she picked PINK!

Mommy and Daddy have been busy painting her new room secretly while she was sleeping.

We surprised her today by showing her that it has been painted and

she immediately wanted to move in.

She brought in her toys and was ready to go!

Since it still is a little paint-smelly, we decided to wait 

ONE MORE NIGHT

and then make the transfer!

Here is what the spare room looked like 

BEFORE:

Aubrey was busy helping us clean the floor.

I told Steve to pick up a few pink swatches from Wal-Mart

and this is what he came home with:)

I think that's PLENTY :)

Here it is! PINK!

Aubrey IMMEDIATELY

wanted to bring in several of her toys and make it home!

It "could be" her LAST NIGHT

in her crib!

And she knew it :)
