Last night we hosted the Pella Christian Eagles.
This is a team that Steve has not yet beat
in his coaching of Varsity Girls at Oskaloosa.
The PC team is a team who was "beatable"
this year, but unfortunately we didn't quite have the skill
to pull it off. We had our point guard back
but still were missing a key post player.
We did well through the three quarters
and at one point we were tied 27-27.
But we have a score of 28, that we are not able to get past
(note last couple games also have been 28 points).
PC went on a huge run and the final score was
28-42.
Coach Kaisand says that you can't overlook their game
during the first part, but by the end things were
getting kind of ugly. Unfortunately,
there were some plays where the girls did
not know where they should be or what they should be doing
which caused a lot of confusion and PC to
capitalize on our errors.
Steve's last time-out he was VERY FRUSTRATED
with the girls and I was worried he was going to
be very upset when he came home.
But, he had time to cool off, and was in a decent
mood, so that was a relief :)
