We had a very busy and fun day today with the girls!
First, Daddy took Aubrey to Kidtoberfest in Oskaloosa Mall.
There were a lot of activities she did there (but no camera):
tatoos, inflatable slide, crafts, candy, games...
lots of fun with just Daddy while Avery stayed home to nap.
Then at 11:00 we ALL headed over to the
Van Roekel Farm near Pella for the Fall Fest
that is put on for FREE by the First Reformed Church in Pella.
We had never been before, but it did not disappoint!
We stayed until about 2:30 - it was a GORGEOUS day!
We will definitely be going back in the future.
throwing the baseball to dunk the pumpkin
getting ready for face painting
time for pumpkin painting
playing in the soybean box
a hay maze
bowling
mini putt-putt
bean bag toss
the hay bale slide
waiting in line for 45 minutes to ride the pony
she did a GREAT job by herself
(until she forgot what she was doing and was
turning around and letting go - lol!)
the horse sneezed and freaked her out a bit
but then she giggled about it later
waiting in the line for the hay rack ride
(it was probably a 15 minute ride WAY out into the bean field)
riding the John Deere trikes
the barrel train
