It was a very chilly and brisk fall day of about 50 degrees
as we headed out to Autumn Acres in Oskaloosa.
We were there for about 2 1/2 hours this afternoon/evening
and we had a great (but cold!) time!
Aubrey using the telescope on the pirate ship
way on top of the pirate ship, catching the COLD breeze!
talking through the speaker phone to Daddy down below deck
Avery was walking the plank
fun ship slide
barrell train ride time :)
Mom and Dad waiting on the girls
(in our Kaisand cattle ear warmer/stocking hat)
the tire tubes are always a favorite
Daddy fell over and Aubrey jumped on the opportunity ;)
corn box
partially burying Aubrey
Aubrey on the slide
Daddy and Avery's turn
Mommy and Avery now
jumping on the hay bales
using the bales as a slide
good balance on the "alligator" tires
checking out the (very pregnant?) donkey
fun on the rope swing
hay rack ride time to the corn field
paiting a pumpkin - always a fun time
Avery's turn down the pirate slide
Aubrey mid-jump with Daddy and Avery right behind
We enjoyed supper there too outside -
hot dogs, chili, chili dogs, chips and drinks
We also got a s'more pack and roasted marshmallows over the fire.
It felt SO WARM!
After a cold few hours outside, we all took warm baths and showers
and snuggled on the couch before bedtime!
