Aubrey's 8th Birthday!

On Monday, March 11, we celebrated Aubrey's 8th birthday!

Avery got sick the night before so we had to change our plans a bit

but she still had a GREAT birthday!

Mom took Aubrey out for breakfast to Jaarsma Bakery 

We then went to Ottumwa and did some shopping at Hobby Lobby.

She got a journal/clipboard that she had been wanting for a long time. 

Never too old for a mall ride-on :) LOL

And then it was off to CLAIRE'S to get her ears pierced!

AFTER...she did so good! Just a little whining, and no crying!

One year ago she got her bike for her birthday and was PLEASANTLY

surprised to ride on it again in 40 degree weather with the snow on the ground! 

Aubrey chose street tacos and fruit salad for her supper

since we couldn't go out with Avery recovering from sickness. 

She finished the day with chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream!

Even though we couldn't do everything we wanted, it was still a great day!
