On Thursday, July 25, we left Oskaloosa at 10 am
after Dad had to do a few things at the farm and at church.
We were on our way for a WEDDING WEEKEND for Curt and Emily!
The girls were excited to use their sticker WEDDING books for the occasion.
at the truck stop there were these life-like animals that Avery LOVED
We got to our hotel, La Quinta around 3:00 and got settled in.
We had a suite with a King bed room and and a couch/tv room.
Aubrey claimed this space.
Avery was excited for this space as her own.
We met up with the Wynias and Mom and Dad VG at the hotel
and drove downtown to the Chicago White Sox game that evening!
Since it was July 25, the theme that night was
"Christmas in July" at the ballpark.
We got seats in the outfield!
Kyle and Steve are genuine White Sox fans but they played the Twins -
the leaders of home runs and boy they hit a lot that game - close to us!
Avery packed a scissors in her pencil box - is that legal?!
Avery and Jaelyn noticed matching socks - unplanned!

It was a 7:10 game so it did get pretty late!
We were true fans of #15 Adam Engel in the outfield and were cheering him on!
At one point he threw a ball right to us! Steve caught it and gave it to Gavin!
10:30 at night and beat!
