DAY 4 - Some of us decided to head downtown Nashville
and check out some of the sights! We knew we probably
would need to wear masks but we were SHOCKED how
the town was dead and we hardly saw anyone -
on the 4th of July, a Saturday!
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
Ryan was our tour guide!
Tennessee Titans Stadium
Views from the pedestrian bridge
Ryan also took us around where the tornado came through this spring -
the white part of this building stood! I believe in Nashville!
the Capitol
We were disappointed the fountains were turned off due to COVID-
it would have felt great on a HOT DAY!
A quick stop at Antique Archaeology - Nashville
the store in TN is actually smaller and more commercialized
than the IA store
masks were required here - and it was pretty busy!
Ryan then drove us around MUSIC ROW
He was in the vehicle ahead of us and put us on speaker phone
so we could see/hear the back stories of where we were driving.
The back to the house to eat, relax, play games, and cool off in the water again!
Lined up at SNOBALLS - like a Sno Biz
more games
water balloons and hose games
We had a wiener roast at the house for supper
before fireworks!
Aubrey doing sparklers
catching fireflies!
waiting for the fireworks to go off!
Avery doing sparklers!
The kids had a decent view of neighborhood fireworks
off the back deck of the rental house.
