Late spring we found a used pool on marketplace to upgrade a bit - to now a 14 ft x 48 inches. BUT, we needed a flat space and we needed Grandpa Craig's help.
First they had to level a nice flat, sunny area.
They filled in the ground with sand to make it quite level.
We decided to put it on the south side in total sun, next to the garage.
Next was laying out a tarp underneath it.
Actually putting up the pool was quite quick and then began the approximately 6-7 hours of running hose to fill the pool!
It was only about 65 degrees when we put it up, knowing the 90 degrees was on it's way soon!
The next day Aubrey was brave enough to get in - the rest of us, not so much!
The people who we got the pool from also threw in quite a few floaties, so that was really nice! But, Aubrey needs to figure them out yet :)
Next up, was putting up a fence for privacy/safety. We purchased the pre-treated wooden shadowbox fence from Menards and Steve and Craig put it up, somewhat "temporary" as they used steel posts and zip ties, but it worked great until we decide if we want to be permanent or not.
Living their best life!

Let the summer days begin!
Avery, that's not quite how the snorkel gear works :)
