Tulip Time

This year for marching band, Aubrey tried out to be a part of the color guard with flags. There were 23 girls from our school who tried out and 9 made it - Aubrey was one of them! She was thrilled to not have to play her saxophone and wear the wooden shoes. Instead they wore a different costume and could wear black crocs - much more comfortable!

They were supposed to march in three parades but Thursday afternoon was rained out so they marched Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Friday was picture perfect weather, but Saturday was cold and cloudy/windy.

All the color guard girls from all schools

After the Saturday afternoon parade, Aubrey stayed with her friends for the night parade.

Avery and I walked around the Dutch market after the parade on Saturday and she made a free bracelet.

Avery and I also checked out quite a few shops that we normally don't go to.

Steve came with us during the night parade and made him take all the pics :)

Aubrey's hair hard to be braided, so Avery actually let me do it for her hair, too!
