The team had to make the long trek over to Mount Pleasant tonight for their game. Obviously since it is a school night Aubrey and I did not travel over there but I think Craig, Char, and Andrea did, so we listened on the radio (giving Aubrey a quick bath at halftime:))
It was a crazy physical ballgame and our team trailed the entire game. It was a spread as far as 12 at one time, and we got within 1 or 2 a time or two but it didn't work out for a win for us.
Apparently it was pretty scrappy and a lot of steals, jump balls, and a bit of frustration was had by all as Coach Kaisand got his first technical foul of the year. He wanted to defend his team and make sure the calls were going both ways, but the refs were having none of it.
It was a very close game at the last few seconds and I thought it was well-coached as everything fell into place and we had a chance to tie it up with a lob from our best player at the 3/4 court line with about 1 second left...and it JUST hit the front of the rim, bummer! Steve's best player had a career high of 29 points and they lost 50-47.
