Here we are almost to the end of December and we have our first snow day! It rained and rained here first, turning it to ice and then a few inches of snow on top of that. The winds are terrible and that means no school for us! Thankfully we have power and we are having a great day at home! We are spending the day doing laundry, packing, wrapping presents, opening a few (Aubrey) and Steve assembling my Christmas present, and just hanging out as a family - WONDERFUL!
Aubrey opened one of her presents last night,
since we want to take it along with us for our ride to Northwest Iowa.
It took her FOREVER since she had to stop and
go throw away each piece of trash!

(We got a portable DVD player for the car and now a DVD to watch in it!)
Staying in our jammies for the morning and
having a juice box and waffles for breakfast!
Steve assembled MY Christmas present this morning, too!
A nice arrangement for all our SHOES in the entry!
I love it so far!
Aubrey got to open one MORE present today!
(sorry for the wild outfit, hair, and lack of a sock...
it's a snow day, give me a break :))
A QUIET BOOK
Hopefully for church so she can start practicing sitting in church
instead of always going to the nursery.
