County Fair - the rest

 Enjoying some SNO BIZ to celebrate a great week at the fair! 

Animals all loaded up - back to the show barn for a few more weeks!

After the show, it was fun to just run around the goats and just have FUN without having to worry about proper walking and bracing. 

County Fair - Thursday

 On Thursday of the County Fair, it is cattle show and Aubrey's busy day. She wakes up early to get the heifers ready is and usually done showing buy lunchtime.

In the evening, they helped serve ice cream for our club. 

Aubrey used Princess for showmanship and did well and placed 4th overall in the Intermediate division.

Aubrey's carcass steer won Grand Champion overall out of 10 

and placed for overall rate of gain/day, as well. 

Avery got 4th place overall for her carcass steer.

We were thankful for Alex & Jason's help this summer fitting Princess before her shows.

County Fair - Wednesday

 Wednesday was a BUSY day - Working Exhibits all morning and Meat Goat Show all afternoon!

Avery showed Dixie and Waffle in two different classes. Waffle got 2nd in this class and then got 2nd overall in the Division - yay Waffle! Dixie got 4th in class out of 9.  Avery did so well trying something new and we are so proud of all the things she learned and accomplished this summer!

Aubrey had the "help" on the sidelines to hold the other goat - she wasn't too thrilled!

Avery practiced a lot of "bracing" - which is hard to do with an 80+ pound wether.

There was a lot of waiting around since we didn't know the exact time she would show after the sheep show.

WORKING EXHIBITS! They girls got PURPLE ribbons and qualified for State (but since Avery was a 4th grader, she was unable to present, so we didn't go to the State Fair for that)
