KC - Day 2

Day 2 of our trip was a rainy day, but that was okay

since we made plans to visit the Crown Center.

We took our time in the morning and let Avery take a morning nap

since she didn't sleep well at night and then started our day.

We went to the Crown Center first

and enjoyed an early lunch at Crayola Cafe

Each placemat had a picture with a pack of Crayola colors

Then we got free tickets to 

Kaleidoscope - a free art center for kids that was about 50 minutes.

Here she was making a headband

Mommy and Aubrey sticking together doing crafts

She painted, made a puzzle, and headbands,

along with gathering a lot of supplies to do at home.

Daddy tried to keep Avery entertained

While it was spitting a little, we quick checked out the fountains.

Then there was a free place called "Story Land"

which was a place for kids to play and read- very fun!

She liked to hoard all those balls

and wear her headband we made at Kaleidoscope :)

Aubrey was one of the few kids who actually wanted 

to read all the stories :)

We didn't go to Legoland, but we saw a girl we took a pic with.

Then, it was back to the Crayola store to sit and color

Lots of fun relaxing and coloring!

And we only had a 15 minute drive to the next hotel,

but they crashed!

Identical positions with mouths hanging wide open - lol!

We got settled into our new hotel,

went swimming and ordered pizza in.

Ready for an earlier bedtime and better sleep!
