Disney on Ice

Our tradition of Disney on Ice continues!
We were thankful to only have RAIN, unlike the snow
Northwest Iowa was experiencing!

Mickey and Minnie always host the show

One of the main shows was Toy Story this year

The Little Mermaid was a shorter show

Cars was next

We were quite impressed how the cars moved on the ice with no accidents!

Frozen I was the fan favorite finale show!

Beginning of Christmas things!

Avery has been struggling getting dressed and wearing the correct things,
so we bribed her that if she got dressed appropriate for the school program,
they BOTH could open an "early stocking" present:)
Avery was thrilled with her Funny Faces sticker book.

And Aubrey was excited about a new book "Spooky House"

such sweet girls - one in real glasses the other with a fake pair

I gifted my two friends a winter arrangement class at Stam's Greenhouse -
we each made the arrangements in ftont of us - pretty fun!

The Hallmark Christmas movies have begun and this is my usual view
in the evenings now :)

I made this advent ornament calendar hanging at a church craft day,
and will put one ornament on the tree leading up to Christmas Day!

The town square had an evening where they turned on the lights -
so we went to the Band Stand and got a great view!
We love the painting of the lights on our beautiful square!

the Courthouse

The Alley is also quite festive!

Thanksgiving Eve the girls had a sleepover by the tree in the living room.

Aubrey and I did a LITTLE pre-black Friday shopping in Oskaloosa
at Walmart on Thanksgiving night. She said she was glad she got
to come and had a lot of fun :)

And we finally got to watch Frozen 2 as a family!

Everyone loved it and Dad stayed awake :)

End of Fall

Many activities ended our fall season - take a look!

Avery went on her class field trip to Autumn Acres. We weren't able
to go with her this time, but thankful for other parents who sent us pics :)

Aubrey also completed her fall U10 soccer season

Avery lost her FIRST tooth!

colder, darker nights mean rediscovering our indoor fun - fooseball

Halloween 2019 was COLD! Avery chose NOT to dress up and Aubrey
was a black something or other :)

Aubrey

Aubrey and Mom enjoyed watching "The Newsies" - put on the PC theater troupe

fall also means LOTS of leaves and raking

It's hard to keep up with the raking with leaves the size of your face!

I had leftover TP from a game from Aubrey's class and Avery
requested to be wrapped up like a mummy - ok?!

Aubrey failed her school eye test so we went to the eye doctor
and he recommended she get GLASSES! How cute :)

fall also means the infamous OSCI fall concert - grades K-4 here
