Kaisand Trip - part 2

The highlight of the Kaisand trip was on June 29 when we went to the ARK ENOUNTER!

The parking was quite a ways out so we had to take a bus to the Ark.

The jars where they might have kept the reptiles on the ark.

There was a ground level and three decks to see!

The DOOR!

Grandpa Craig had to buy some gummy bears to hold the kids over until lunch.

Steve with a cut-out of Ken Ham.

We had to take the bus back to our vans to eat lunch in the vans in the parking lot - it was SO HOT! Said it was 93 degrees and felt like 102!

Some of us went back into the park after lunch and we did the zoo, gift shop and virtual reality show!

Avery and Grandpa Craig checking out the ostrich.

We were taking a break in the shade with the fans, as were the cattle!

Hard to see, but the flowers were arranged in rainbow order - very pretty!

One last view of the house.

Time to go home!

Kaisand Trip - part 1

The Kaisand family had their vacation June 26-30.
We stayed at the Harmony House in Aurora, IN.
The first couple days were spent traveling and relaxing at and around the house.

The girls' room in the way upstairs!

It was nice to eat together at the very large dining room!

Front porch sitting!

We walked a few blocks down to the Ohio River.

Hanging out in the house - presenting the custom made matching shirts that Andrea made.

We walked a few blocks down to a fun local ice cream place!

The girls' room had a Wii game system that was well-played.

On Monday, June 28, we went to the CREATION MUSEUM!
The 4-D presentation on creation was great!

We found a Joe Hox book at the museum!

The grounds were beautiful, but it was HOT!

We packed a picnic lunch to eat in the pavilion! It sprinkled a bit and then came the heat!

There was a fun park, too!

After the Creation Museum, we found a local pool/splash bad - it hit the spot on a hot day!
