Spring Things

Mother's Day 2022

Traditional flower pot that I pick out from Stam's Garden each year.

The girls presenting the super HUGE card :)

Kailey playing Oceans - she invited the girls to sing with her - so lovely!

The heat was ON with a week of 90s! Time for some squirt guns to cool off!

We found a robin's egg nest at the show barn.

The lilac bush blossomed beautifully!

Aubrey's class took a field trip to Reiman Gardens in Ames - a mom sent this to us :)

We pranked our friend and switched out her Hawkeye flag for an Iowa State one
while she was out of town!

More warm weather required the sprinkler under the trampoline to cool off.

Aubrey had her first band concert with her 5th grade class! She plays the alto saxophone.

They also had choir numbers they performed.

Tulip Time

Because our school marched in the Thursday afternoon parade, we got out of school early that day.
So the girls and I went to Pella for the parade, some food and tulip viewing.

Avery liked the pink tulip beds

Kate walked around with us before the parade started

Avery wanted to take my pic :)

The girls enjoyed poffertjes and strawberry smoothies before the parade started.

A cute little girls came over to give Aubrey this yellow tulip during the parade.

On Friday night, after Aubrey's softball game, Steve joined us for the night parade.

We met up with a bunch of the Kaisand crew to watch the parade.
