GEMS Sunday!

On Sunday, March 7, was GEMS Sunday!
I was one of Aubrey's counselors for 4th grade and will follow
this class through 8th grade year.

Large group singing special music "Whom Shall I Fear - God of Angel Armies"
Me- front left and Aubrey front middle

Each girl had to say a little bit. Aubrey said, "I wasn't nervous, I just couldn't talk right." That, my dear, is called being nervous :)

4th grade class, missing 3 girls

Bowling Birthday Bash!

On Friday, March 5, we decided to have a joint bowling birthday bash
for the girls together. They each could invite four friends, and each
could have their own lanes and own snacks/presents time!
It went SO WELL with all the girls together!
Even the manager commented that they were a nice bunch,
so he gave everyone a free pass to come back at another time!
We rented the lanes from 6:00-8:00 and invited the girls
to come around 6:15 and we ended closer to 8:15!

We got a quick pic of the girls together before the craziness!

We HAD to get a group photo with everyone - too fun!
They all got along great!

Avery bowling with her new sunglasses :)

Aubrey hanging out with her friends! Part of our birthday party rental was that included was a fried food platter - the 4th graders LOVED it and we didn't even tell the 1st graders :)

Avery's friends enjoying drinks, cupcakes, snack mix and kisses.

High fives from friends!

Avery's present time

Aubrey's present time

4th graders snacking and chatting

Aubrey and her friends - Kate, Emily, Leah and Reese

Avery and her friends - Kohen, Violet, Kenzie and Raegan

Cheering each other on - the 1st graders were jumping the entire time!

Aubrey bowling - her lane started out with no bumpers, but quickly changed their minds

Not even staged - they were so cute!

Again - not staged - just good friends!

They would huddle up and think of a cheer to cheer for the one bowling!

Avery tied for 3rd on her lane

Aubrey was 5th on her lane

Kaisand Birthday Party

On Sunday, February 28, we had a small Kaisand birthday party at our house
with Palmers, Grandpa and Grandma Betty, and Grandpa Craig and Grandma Char.

All set up before everyone came

Oh! Avery got $10 even though she's turning 7, not 10 :)

Aubrey was overly excited for colored lined paper :)

Grandma Char made a cookies n cream ice cream cake

No blowing out the candles with COVID, so they fanned them out! LOL

Cousins

The spread: white cheddar popcorn, pretzels, gummy worms, skittles, cake and drinks

Noah played the keyboard and Aubrey played the recorder to "Hot Cross Buns"

Avery enjoyed colored her new purse from the Palmers

Aubrey enjoyed her new blanket from Palmers, and so did Dad!

The girls created an imaginary "Sweetville" as their party theme.
Avery made these two signs,

If you look carefully, above the window is Aubrey's 18-page spread of
SWEETVILLE!

After doing an activity like this in GEMS, Aubrey thought it would be fun, too!
It's a compliment card where each guest had to write a compliment for each girl.
