Spring Break Trip

For our Spring Break, we left on Friday and took Aubrey out of school a little early
to head to the annual NWI trip for birthday celebrations.

Aubrey was excited to wake up at Gradma and Grandpa's house
and be SIX years old on Saturday morning.

We always love their pancakes for breakfast,
but Grandma made them extra special with m and ms and chocolate chips.

Lots of time spent at the window watching the
FAT squirrel that Grandma feeds corn to.

The pancakes didn't taste as good as she was hoping with the cholocate added :)

Yummy, Avery!

After breakfast, the Wynia cousins came over.

We all headed outside...

...to watch the sheep get sheared!

These two girls were cold and didn't want to get too close.

These girls were glad to be reunited and had a great time!
Collecting some wool to take home.

It did NOT feel like Spring up in NWI.
They had quite the cold storm, and even had school delayed the next day!
BRRRRRR!

Avery woke up from her nap and said she was ready for HER party!
Little did she realize the party last night was the only party.
So Grandma found a little something to wrap and open :)

new outfits!

Cute, girls!

We had extra cupcakes from the party, so Avery got to have candles
and get sung to again for her ACTUAL birthday after church :)

On Monday, we headed to "We Rock the Spectrum" gym in Orange City
to burn off some energy on a COLD DAY!

cousins came to play, too

Aubrey's favorite part is always the zipline

Avery spent most of her time with pretend play

The girls shared a room at Grandma and Grandpa's house -
too bad Avery was a terrible sleeper those few days.

Aunt Jen with Baby Dakota
(yes I rocked her to sleep from a full blown scream)

Avery LOVED feeding Dakota

Aubrey was feeling jealous so she tried for a bit, too
