Park, Mini-Golf & Swimming Lessons!

 While Jen is tutoring, Steve has to find things to do with the girls.

This past week, they biked (Steve pulled Avery in the carrier)

all the way to the elementary school and back (SIX MILES!)

on the bike trail at the bottom of the hill near our house. 

their reward is the play at the park for awhile

Aubrey could bike all day long! 

Avery was getting antsy just sitting in the carrier :)

A cool evening this weekend to go mini-golfing!

(umm....got to work on that form)

The girls started swimming lessons again at a neighbor girls' pool!

Aubrey had done them last year and this year Avery got to join Aubrey!

It was a chilly morning, but Avery did AWESOME! 

This girl is CRAZY in the water...in a bad way :)

"octops legs" the teacher calls her - she may not be a swimmer like her Daddy!

She lasted about 20 minutes and then was FREEZING - 

shaking and purple lips, so we came to the car to warm up :)

Pella Pool

We went to the Pella pool for the first time this summer. We had Avery take an earlier nap and went a little later, swimming from

 3:00-6:00. It really was perfect weather and many people leave at 3 and even more at 5. It was a good day!

Aubrey was just 48 inches so she got to ride the tube slide with dad for the first time :)

NWI weekend

In addition to spending our long weekend at RiseFest

we were able to fit in quite a bit of other fun things, too!

At our quick BK supper stop traveling up,

Avery though Elmo needed a chicken nugget!

were camping for the weekend in RV

and decided to join them for swimming!
