I need to document this so that one day I can look back and laugh
but we aren't laughing just yet...
This week has been one of the worst we can remember
as far as dealing with an independent, stubborn little girl.
Things she would refuse to do...
-let me comb her hair
-IF I did do her hair how she asked, she'd rip it out
-not getting dressed
-not eating breakfast
-not eating. period (I would be crabby, too!)
...to name the biggies.
Most of the time it would be morning battles
and she would be fine later in the day!
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CONVINCE HER
to do something unless she thinks it was her idea
or in her own time!
So frustrating!
Tantrum city over everything!
We have scheduled a haircut next week
to hopefully solve the hair issue!
She has about 4 things she likes to wear in her wardrobe,
none of which are appropriate to wear in public during the summer.
Outfit choice #1: WINTER clothes....vests, pants and BOOTS!
#2; Leotards and BOOTS
#3: Jammies (and NO COMBED HAIR!)
#4: NOTHING AT ALL
(this picture did not include everything that wasn't clothed!)
This week was VBS, and since she is 3 she could go!
Problem is..she wouldn't let me comb her hair or wear clothes!
On Day 2 SHE MISSED VBS since she would not get dressed...
we fought it for 45 minutes...UNBELIEVABLE!
I mean kicking and screaming and ripping clothes off fighting!
I mean kicking and screaming and ripping clothes off fighting!
The next day, she picked this outfit and let me braid her hair - WHAT?!
Dear Lord...this too shall pass, but can it hurry up already?!
