Heartland Break

This past week was the Heartland Convention at Dordt
and I went and took the girls with me for a few days.
We had planned to stay for 5 days but plans changed
when the whole Wynia family came down the the stomach flu.
We taught Aubrey what it means to make "lemonade from lemons"
and still managed to have some fun with Grandma, Grandpa,
Uncle Curt, Josh, Jessica, Weston and Dakota.

We stopped at a rest stop on I-80 to get some wiggles out on the way.

It's always fun to see how huge the windmill blades are up close!

Cousin Katie came from Pella for the convention
and was able to join us for an evening, too!

Katie got to read some bedtime stories to the girls.

On Friday, since it was a rainy day, Grandma VG
and us decided to "go to another state!" to watch the new
My Little Pony movie! Aubrey was shocked we had to travel
that far for a movie! The local towns didn't have it playing.

After the movie, we did some shopping and had
Culver's for supper.

mmmmmm :)

On the way home we stopped at another rest stop
to get some wiggles out - it was COLD and WINDY!
