4th of July

The 4th of July this year was HOT!

We started the day off at the Bussey parade and then headed over to Grandma Betty's

for a picnic in the AIR CONDITIONED garage.

We stayed for the afternoon and let the kids play together

and enjoyed the slip n slide outside!

We came home and relaxed a bit

and then hopped in our pool for a later swim since it was still so hot!

We came in for a movie, then did sparklers and ended the night

watching Oskaloosa's town fireworks at 10.

but it wasn't as tame and she didn't like its claws.
