Girls' Field Trips

On Wednesday, I was able to go with Avery to the new
Environmental Learning Center in Oskaloosa with her preschool class.
It was very cold and RAINED A LOT, but it was indoors
and we still had fun.

Mom got to ride the bus with Avery

Ranger Laura holding a hissing cockroach.
She was trying to get them to HISS and they jumped out of her hands
and fell on the kids - SCREAMS!
Thankfully Avery wasn't close.

This little turtle pooped and peed in front of the kids :)

Avery was BRAVE and held a SNAKE!

Listening to Ranger Laura talk about frogs.

Avery making animal tracks with baby powder.

Coloring :)

On Friday, I got to ride the bus up to Des Moine with Aubrey
to the Blank Park Zoo!
This was our group of 4 girls that we were with for the day.

BFFs Kate and Aubrey

Checking out the penguins!

The girls in the prairie dog tunnel.

LIONS!

GIRAFFES

These ducks were fun to watch  - they kept swimming by quickly
and splashing the girls!

MOOOOOOOOOO!

My favorite picture of the day - there was a free roaming peacock
and Aubrey got freaked :)
