Since I (Jen) had off of school for some teacher development,
I decided to take the girls to Uncle Bill's Farm in Grinnell.
It was a chilly morning of only about 48 degrees, but there were
plenty of barns, the sun was out, and we dressed warmly,
that it didn't really bother us.
We had never gone before, and knew that since we were going during the week
we would not have all the attractions, but still worth a shot.
Overall, it was a nice couple hours of fun!
lots of nice photo ops :)
giddy up, Aubrey!
Avery's turn
reeling the goat food up to the top
this little guy enjoyed our 25 cent treat
hay bale maze
the JUMPING PILLOW
the girls had a lot of fun jumping on
"the orange trampoline"
There were a few other classes/groups there, too
but it really wasn't busy at all.
a little playhouse
teeter-totter
CORN PILE
It was inside a barn and in a HUGE big - very fun!
the slide in it was extra fun
John Deere trikes
One thing were not able to do was take the hay rack ride
out to that back field where the pumpkin patch was.
Since there weren't a lot of people, it didn't go out this time.
acting all brave petting the large donkey :)
cute little chicks inside their barn/restaurant
