Mother's Day weekend

It was mostly a rainy Mother's Day weekend.
But the girls enjoyed playing in the rain with their umbrella.

We love springtime by the pond across the road.
Every spring there are new baby geese - this year the same!
We actually had to stop on the road to watch them pass - too cute!

The tradition continues to pick out flowers at Stam Greenhosuse.

On Saturday, Aubrey and I went to a Mommy & Me painting class
at The Local Vine in Indianola.

I painted the left side and Aubrey patinted the right side
and it made one painting in the end.

Aubrey decided on the colors and I think it looks great!

Aubrey also decided to add ladybugs - it wasn't part of the instruction!

finished product- pretty good!

Aubrey posing in her new "twirly girl" dress

after church photo op - mostly a "fail" = reality

Avery loves her new "twirly girl" dress

On Sunday evening, we went out to the farm with Steve.

The girls had fun on the ranger out in the pasture while Daddy did some work.

So nice to see the green grass, blue sky, and baby calves in the pasture!

We spotted a new baby that needed to be tagged yet.

The girls had fun bottle feeding Noah's calf "Sky(e)"

Now Daddy joined us on the ranger to scout out the new babies.

Avery's new calf she named "Butterfly"

Aubrey's calf named "Violet"
