Tulip Time

Friday was a perfect day for Tulip Time!
Steve met us in Pella after a conference in DSM and
Osky Christian got out at 1:15 so we were able to meet up
for the afternoon and evening.

We made it right on time for the 2:30 afternoon parade!

OMS Marching Band

THIS is what Aubrey got to ride in for the parade!
Her BFF's grandpra drove it and she was invited to ride, too!

She got a Dutch hat and had a fabulous time waving!

The massive District V Christian school marching band!

Fun on the inflatable slides - thanks grandpa and grandma!

It wasn't all fun and games because at this point, Aubrey was overly tired and crabby.
She had a nice meltdown, needed a snack and drink, a ride in the stroller
and then snapped out of it for the rest of the evening.

It was nice to spend our time there with grandpa and grandma!

Sno cones are sure tasty, yet messy!

Grandma Char explaining to Aubrey the meaning behind this story.

Aubrey wanted to walk down to the Sunken Gardens
to see the fountain and more tulips!

Thanks, Aubrey, for the pic!

Aubrey had fun riding her scooter around these pathways, too!

We made it to the 8:30 night parade for a bit, too!

We left around 9:00 with Avery, who clunked out in the van since she had skipped a nap!

Aubrey got a surprise and got to go home with grandpa and grandma.
We didn't even pack jammies or clothes so she had to improvise with jammies
and Dad would come in the morning to bring her new clothes :)
