Spring Break - Day 3 - Aubrey's Birthday/The Magic Kingdom

 HAPPY 13th BIRTHDAY, AUBREY DAWN!

We got to spend the whole day together at The Magic Kingdom!
We woke up at 5:45 (with the time change, it felt like 4:45 to us)
and we arrived to the parking lot in one if the VERY FIRST ROWS!
We were shocked at how well we navigated though so quickly.
We then hopped on the Monorail with no wait and were on
MAIN STREET, USA INSIDE Disney World by 7:20 - so amazing!

We bought the Disney Genie + (Fast passes) for an extra $35/person and we navigated that perfectly, as well! I had spent A TON of time researching how to use these "lightning lanes" and the best strategy and we fit in a LOT!
We also additionally bought TRON for $20/person for Steve and Aubrey as her birthday gift!

(pics in reverse order)

After 15 hours at the park, the girls were wiped!

What an incredible day, absolutely perfect!

TRON lit up at night was awesome!
We ended the night on Avery's favorite ride - the Barnstormer!

After the fireworks we were still able to hit quite a few more rides with our Lightning Lanes stacked up perfectly!

It's a Small World

Fireworks began at 8:30 and we just so happened to get there around 8:00 and found a cement bench with a pretty good view (with only a few lower bushes blocking the view!)

We brought in glowsticks from home - super fun and assembled them on the bench waiting for the fireworks to start!

We ordered on the app at a Quick Service spot, "Cosmic Rays" for supper - worked out great!

Taking a load off right by the castle.

The girls got their silhouettes cut out for an extra fee - a souvenir mom wanted to get.

We had to purchase an "Individual Lightning Lane" at an extra $20/person to ride TRON. This was considered one of Aubrey's birthday presents - very fun! 0-60 in 2.8 seconds!

While we were waiting in line for the silhouettes, Steve got the famous snack - the fruit and nutella waffle - very yummy! One of the only snacks we bought there - else we packed a lot of snacks, drinks and lunches to save money!

We didn't want to pause too much to sit and watch the parade, but we did find a good spot to catch in go by for just a little bit!

The Little Mermaid

Tomorrowland Speedway - Aubre drove with me and Avery drove with Steve. It was an "easy" drive since you had a track that you couldn't go off - but still fun!

The girls brough little goodie bags with a fortune teller and Disney water bottle stickers. We hid them around the park to make someone's day - it's called Pixie Dusting!

Our favorite shots - one of the first ones at 7:20 in the morning!
So excited to be there!

Happy 13th Birthday, Aubrey Dawn!
We got a free pin so people would say "Happy Birthday" to her all day long, so fun!

Pirates of the Caribbean - it was closed at the very beginning of the day and we were bummed,
but it opened up again by 9:15!

Jungle Cruise

Aubrey left one of her "pixie dust" goodie bags in the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse :)

We could not believe it - we "rope dropped" Big Thunder Mountain (meaning we got on that one very first thing!) and there really was no wait - we were shocked! We all LOVED IT!
What a great first ride of Disney World

Our first ride - how's it going to go?!

We happened to walk right by the castle at 7:58 and saw Mickey and Minnie and friends welcome us to Disney World with a little song - yay!

We went to "City Hall" to get our tickets that we would scan for our Lightning Lane rides and then the lady realized it was Aubrey's birthday so she gave us this HUGE 3-ft light up wand that we got to carry around for the whole day - so fun!

Upon arrival, there was a carriage with a bride and groom that drove down Main Street, USA!

YAY - THE CASTLE!

After we parked, you have a choice to take the monorail OR the ferry boat to Magic Kingdom, since it is about 1 mile away. We got on with no wait!

Walking from the parking lot into security - still dark!

Leaving our condo at "0-dark-thirty!"

Overall it was an INCREDIBLE DAY! We left our condo at 6:35 in the morning and got home at 11:30! WHAT A DAY! Here's all we did so that I never forget :)
