We slept in and finally were able to have a little bit of a relaxing morning. We wandered around the resort before we had to check out by 11:00 and then we headed down about an hour south to St. Pete.
We walked around our resort and found this little area
We looked more closely and I noticed an alligator just swimming right by!

We then traveled to Madeira Beach area and found Smuggler's Cove mini golf!
There was a pond with live gators - yikes!
I couldn't believe it - I actually won!
Just a little ways down the road, the Zomermaands had rented a boat for the day on the Intercoastal water and invited us to join - we met them at the dock at around 3:00. We parked by a McDonalds and boarded right on the boat!

Aubrey decided to trying tubing first with a few of the Z kids, with Avery onlooking.
Then Aubrey, Avery and Steve rode together - they had fun!

We unloaded all the things off the boat and then headed to the nearby pizza place.
We had a great few hours together on the boat and were treated to supper, too!
