This weekend Steve and the team had two more games
and two more losses.
Friday night's game was at home vs. Dallas-Center Grimes
(DCG), who are undefeated in the conference
and a very good ranked team.
The score was 79-36.
Those girls were just good and could hit lots of shots.
It was pretty decent for us, offensively.
It was also Coaches vs. Cancer night
so the girls enjoyed wearing their pink uniforms
and Steve got to wear a hot pink tie,
along with some other fundraising activities during the game,
such as a silent auction, free throw shooting,
and Smokey Row coffee being sold.
Aubrey and I also got to wear our
"Beat Cancer" shirts, even though Aubrey's
was more of a dress :)
Saturday, the team traveled to Indianola
for an earlier 5:00 game, which we did not go to.
Once again, Indianola is a ranked team
and we ended up losing with a score of 52-18.
Just a rough night for the girls who really
felt defeated before they even started.
Four more games left on the season
and four more practices.
