Last night was her first chance at a big girl room and a big girl bed for the night!
She knew she was excited!
No more being carried to bed...she wanted to RUN there!
Mommy tucking her in.
She had a LOT of blankets and babies in there.
Yay!
She fell right asleep - good girl!
But, she was pretty hot since she had a lot of blankies on her.
I uncovered her and she still slept on :)
She did wake up once during the night just a bit confused
and rustled around for a bit but then fell back asleep.
Unfortunately she was awake at 6:00 and with the new freedom,
she immediately ran out of her room ready for the day.
We had to explain to her that she couldn't get up
unless Mommy and Daddy said she could.
She didn't want to go back to sleep, so we did give her a quick drink
of milk and said she had to stay in her bed awhile longer.
She managed to sing and entertain herself for the next hour
and STAYED in her bed until we got her.
Steve put her down for naptime and she did her usual singing, but
then proceeded to take a nap over two hours - BIGTIME success!
We'll see how tonight goes:)
She's still excited about it!
