Today was a special family day, kind of to celebrate Steve's birthday. The girls took early naps and we first hit the 2:45 showing of "Finding Dory" in Ottumwa.

Avery was convinced she was really driving
Then it was showtime! It was Avery's first theater experience (and was free) and it was Aubrey's second time in a theatre.
Of course we got popcorn and snuck in a few drinks and other snacks if needed to entertain Avery.
Overall, Aubrey LOVED it and really remembered some of the connections from "Finding Nemo." Avery, however, being newly potty trained, had to go potty about five times (probably because she was snooping our pop) and would rather play than sit but she did ok. Steve and I took turns taking her out.
We then did a little shopping for Father's Day/birthday and picked out a few new clothes and a grill/bbq for Steve.
And of course with our birthday rewards we had to hit Pizza Ranch for supper. Avery kept saying this cowboy was "Grandpa Betty" - lol.
