It's summertime!

This week has officially felt like summer break!

After we got home from our mini-vaca to NWI,

it has been pools and soccer and parks - no tutoring until next week!

We are checking off our to-do list quickly!

Steve took the girls to the cemetary while the flags 

were still up for Memorial Day

(while Jen was at the eye dr. ONCE AGAIN - 

getting an appointment to Wolfe Eye Clinic in DSM)

Avery was moved to a BIG GIRL BED on Tuesday!

We don't have a good bed so it is just the mattress and box frame

on the floor with a bed rail.

She still likes to hug the corner :)

sound asleep her first night with TONS OF FRIENDS :)

Aubrey got new bedding and handed hers down to Avery :)

(as you will notice, she has quite a collection of things to do

during "rest time"...and still likes to sleep with Teddy next to her face)

Aubrey was practicing some sight words with chalk -

no rest for the weary in the summer :)

After 3 days in her big girl bed...she WANDERED OUT OF HER ROOM

during naptime and ended up here...no idea how!

Aubrey was in her room. Mom was in her room. Steve was outside.

I never heard a peep and I don't know how she opened her door.

What a stinker!

She did wake up about 15 minutes later and

Steve brought her back to her bed where she played for awhile longer. 

This girl also proceded to dress herself in Aubrey's

shin socks and soccer shoes...took her about 2 minutes but she got it all!

So proud of her soccer gear!

She's watched Aubrey enough she knows the order of socks, shin socks, shoes :)

Aubrey had a big two days of soccer camp 

out in the sun for two hours each day. 

She came home and just needed to be inside the cool

and have some ipad time :)

Coolest spot she could find I guess.
