It was time to start our summer project with our kitchen and dining room. Our first step was to knock down this awkward short wall from the kitchen and dining room.

This awkward thing was in the wall...a planter that still had six inches of potting soil in it! They covered it with paper and insulation. Very strange.
Grandpa Betty came to help and brought all the good tools!

They only had two surprises...electrical from the ceiling and an opening on the far left that was open to the attic.
