Remodel Part 2

Grandpa Betty came a second day to help fill in the pieces with dry wall and boards.

 Flooring

Filling the gap with dry wall

The next steps were to plaster and dry wall and also paint the ceiling and the yellow left.

You can kind of see a yellow strip in the middle where we were testing our yellow. We had the yellow numbers left (from 2012) and got a new gallon mixed and it matched perfectly! That way only needed to paint a little rather than redo all the yellow!

We decided to repaint the whole ceiling because of this. We didn't have a record of the white the previous owners used but we got one almost exactly to match, too.

Getting ready to paint

I worked my magic as the trim lady once again...it was exactly one year ago we painted the outside of the house!

And Steve was the roll master :)

Painting only took an hour each and we won't need a second coat
except where the wall was taken down. Next step...flooring!
